HEATHER GREEN, PhD

Heather Green, PhD: Dr. Green has been practicing psychology in Philadelphia for five years. Her professional interests span forensic and clinical cases. Green received specialized training in forensic mental health assessment procedures, ethics and the law as part of her doctorate experience.  Legal questions surrounding high conflict families have become the focus of her current practice.  Dr. Green is also qualified to examine juvenile decertification questions, competency and sentencing considerations.

Clinically, referral sources have come to rely on her experience and expertise in anxiety, depression, abuse, and interpersonal difficulties. She is flexible in her approach, tailoring therapy to the needs of each individual client. Cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based therapies often frame her conceptualization and treatment planning. Dr. Green’s clients appreciate her willingness to openly discuss treatment options, as well as her good humor.
